ah yes, I forgot years existed
I can confirm that the Corsica comic was a weird (but still entertaining) experience for me as a non-French
Asterix in Native America
We have Asterix Conquers America which is loosely based on Asterix and the Great Crossing, but it's kinda dumb
Well we gotta remember that they are most likely to go to areas that Julius C. Conquered
I'm more interested in both animated series. Live actors are not that interesting to look at.
the Asterix movies with the real actors was kinda weird
the villagers weren't fat enough
Characters are drawn with unrealistic proportions to be more appealing and recognisable
yh, they couldn't rlly use someone with Dwarfism as Asterix
no offence to them, but they wouldn't rlly suit asterix ig
Live actor movies went from good to awful, with each one being dumber than the former, and people got tired of that. They need to make a good plot and reduce the amount of cheap humor. On another point, I miss animated movies where things are drawn as in the comics, plastiline designs don't look so good imo.
3D is confirmed for both series, the Dogmatix series has character renders already which are similar to the movies.
Asterix and the Vikings has the best 2D animation but I feel it tries way too hard to be like Disney overall which doesn't fit the franchise
I also find older movies to be harder to watch lately. I realised it's their slow pacing. 12 Tasks seems fine though.
What is their obsession with The Big Fight? It's not even that good of a comic
