Some of Uderzo's entries (as some of Goscinny's) are parodies/criticism on things he despised: The Great Divide: parody/criticism of Cold War. The Black Gold: parody of the situation of Middle East. The Secret Weapon: parody of radical feminism. The Falling Sky: parody of Disney and the American and Japanese comic industry. He's obviously upset that they sell everywhere while French comic (which he thinks is superior quality) only sells in few countries.
