from what i've seen in Jonas' stream i think Slap Them All has a few references to the animated movies
like this one cutscene where Obelix wants to give flowers to Panacea and it reminded me of Asterix Takes On Caesar as it had a very similar scene

Obelix gifting flowers to Panacea was in Asterix the Legionary (comic), then Asterix Versus Caesar (animated film) which was partly based on it... Was Take on Caesar a live-action film?
In german the movie's called Asterix Sieg Über Cäsar which would translate into Asterix Take On Caesar
But Twelve Tasks Of Asterix is called Asterix Erobert Rom (Asterix conquers Rome) so the german titles are sometimes completely different than the original title
Yes, Take on Caesar is the English title of the 1999 live-action movie. Though, the original French title (and in Spanish) is Astérix contre Cesar, which translates to Asterix VS Caesar, which is the English title from the 1985 animation movie, which original (and Spanish) title is La surprise de César. That's what can cause the confusion.
