i think its always important to write those type of things with some humour
not turn it into a bureaucratic bullshit that no one will read
i swear i never read the rules on any server i join cause i know what are the rules
but this type of stuff usually welcomes new members and lets them feel the overall fun on this server

I'm with Yarny on this. Most people are lazy or come here in their brief spare time, so they will ignore long text. Rules should be as briefly sentenced as possible so they're even easy to retain in mind. Also, they should not have any contradictions. If you say no politics, then it's no politics at all, not such arbitrary thing as "except when we may be interested on the topic and want to vent". That's arbitrary and not serious. And the same thing goes for the "drama", which is a very undefined concept. If you have the intention of bypassing the rule occasionally, then don't put it in the first place, or put it as an advice which violation would not lead to punishment.
Even then, I admit it's an actually ingenious writing
