The rebranding hasn't increased any activity, though The average number of people joining is the same as before, some months even lower, except those when a new game is released.

Evidence says the opposite. Rebranding took place on 1st October, and you can see in #village-gates the number of people joining is the same or lower in the next months, except the brief days of Slap them All release. There hasn't been any new really active user since then. And just 1 new entry in #introduce_yourself in 5 months, which is today's from Jenjen (since Filthy Casual just came back after a break). The server was never silent, but I know your idea of that is not having a conversation every day. Silent is actually no one talking for weeks, especially in sites where there are so few real members, like this one. But you can believe otherwise if it makes you happier.
