I've not watched the live action movies of asterix in forever
Asterix was captured by the Romans or something and he was forced to complete certain tasks while Obelix was watching since he had joined them for a short time
He had to fight off lions, go through crocodile infested waters and walk through a ditch filled to the brim with spiders
That seems very fitting for Astérix
oh yeah, the tarantula scene.... i only saw asterix & obelix take on caesar once, on a 16-hour bus ride
i didn't watch the 4th live action movie, but the other three always stood out to me as very random
especially the ending of OG
it goes on forever to stick in as many celebrity cameos as possible, but it's more like a spectacle than a coherent story
