iPhones have a "self destruct" feature as well - the updates that the old phones get. Apple slows them down on purpose to make you buy new phones

Yes, Apple does indeed have that. Among with many of "features" such as stopping the finger print reader to work you if replace the screen etc.

A car is not a service, just like games. You buy them and you can do whatever you want with them, but the companies put restrictions on it to prevent it
