I often experience something similar. I draw something, then think: this looked better in my head...
Or, a lot of my drawings stay as sketches and never get outlined and colored because sometimes I feel like the sketches look better than the final result.
The hardships of the artist. I've experienced this as well but only with video editing.
Speaking of video editing, I used to work in Sony Vegas 13, but oneday it just stopped working (it crashes at every launch attempt). It didn't work well prior to that either: it constantly crashed for no reason, sometimes even while rendering...
Fortunately I had an older version of the programe (10) installed in another place of my PC. Surprisngly, it's stable, I don't remember it ever crashing. There's just one little inconvenience: I installed it while using Windows XP and can launch it only from there. If I try to launch it on Windows 7, it asks me for a key.
I don't remember the installation process of both versions, but they're both pirated.
Actually, I can remember that Sony Vegas 13 stopped working after I downloaded the files that were missing for Discord's desktop app installer... But I have another version that works, so I probably won't bother trying to fix it. It was trash anyway.
Are you using the 10 Version now?
Yes. I can't open the Vegas 13 files with it because they're incompatible with it though.
Are you able to do most of the stuff you want while editing a video?
Yes.
The differences between 10 and 13 I noticed is that some features in 13 are broken. :B
Usually I don't do anything complicated like YTPs, I just need to take a cartoon (or several files with different dubs of the same cartoon), chop the videos, delete the clips I don't need, change their order and adjust volume in some clips.
Pretty basic stuff in other words. Do you also use it to take pics of various frames? :Ρ
It's technically possible, but normally I use Media Player Classic for that.
