I think it depends on the size of the case. If it's a small square case, there there is no booklet. But if it is a large non-square one, there there is.

Like I have XXL2 in a small case without manual, but OG in a large case with the booklet.

I got some other booklets but none of them really contains much information about a single game since I only own the whole World of Asterix bundle. I used to play on the classical releases back then but I have no idea where those cds went
