I think they decided against realism and went to the cartoony direction on purpose. OG looked the most realistic but I don't like how Asterix and Obelix look there, they look a tad creepy.

If you already own the game but can't play it on a 64 Bit machine it's sufficient to download the corresponding .elb module in the #downloads section
