Isn't using the gamemodule.elb in the download section helping ?
I'm not sure of what I'm saying but maybe you could copy everything from your physical copy to a certain folder and install the game directly from the paste folder...
You probably should ask AdrienTD for those problems actually ... :/
I know there are problems with Windows10 because the game has been coded in 32 bits iirc...
What kind of error do you get ?
I don't know if it's possible to copy every folder that exist on your disk into a random folder on your computer and try to install it from the new folder after downloading the file I was talking about (and that you should find in the folders of the game) and replacing it to the file of the same name (after having done a backup of the so-called file)
Not sure if that could work though...
