If you're going to emulate I would recommend the GC version. It runs better
Though in the GC version of the game your jumps are slightly lower. You wouldn't notice it just by looking but they are.
This needs checking frame by frame, i didn't know about that.
About PCSX 2: this thing is unstable as hell, even the beast of a computer I have can safely run XXL2 smoothly in 1,5 native resolution.
While Gamecube version, being stronger hardware, can go 4k and I still get a speedup.
