put the exe in the game's folder and it should work
then you just need to double-click the patched gamemodule to run it
would i upload the game files that a friend could download it could he play that game too?
Technically you COULD share a game folder with someone if you want but I'm LEGALLY not allowed to recommend you to do so. 🙃

I normally use Sony Vegas Pro 10.
I also have Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015, but it always gives my PC a bad time so I only use it for simple editing like cropping and adding music.
Pretty sure anything from Adobe is supposed to be bought, and you can't even have it forever once you do. So, it's pirated in my case.
As for Vegas, I don't remember. I only launch it from Windows XP though, if I launch it from Windows 7 it tells me to register it.
Since i'm using Adobe software for work it's also what i use for personal stuff
