Not sure, but there might be a limit of the number of types of Romans that can appear at the same time.

Because once a Roman appear on screen, some colors in the palette will be allocated for that type of Roman

and I believe there is a max of 3 subpalettes for romans

so if you put a fourth type of Roman with different palette, it might get wrong colors
