I can't remember exact examples of vignette except Spyro Reignited, or Yansim where it's easy to notice and used to emphasise loss of sanity
When the game makes you squint when you are already playing in a relatively small screen
It's called a vignette, and some games let you disable it. Luckily it might be a texture to be blanked/removed on PC.
Oh whoops, didn't scroll all the discussion
Vignette? Force it.
Anti-aliasing? Force it.
DoF? Force it.
Render distance and LoD? Who cares? Everyone can afford a high-end PC, right?
Here https://youtu.be/mMPB0vhSn6E
they basically took 1:1 the same geometry from the original, so LOD isn't much of use except maybe for the characters
its like XXL2, but much darker and with wax figures
looks nice
the only thing that i would probably suggest is somehow reduce the brightness cause it really hits eyes
only OSome would have the idea to purposefully make a cartoon game that is supposed to be colorful and saturated depressing and dark
there is definitely a noticeable improvement

Oh yeah, I felt saturation felt different but couldn't put my finger on it.
Dull colours belong in horrors and your average shooters
True, I'll see what I can do
What about this? https://youtu.be/G9Jod5EEEOI
I lowered the brightness and the saturation a bit
it should be on par with the non-ReShade one, brightness-wise
Maybe it could work if it was *slightly* less saturated in the first xxl
Because that one *is* supposed to be edgy
