@AdrienTD May I ask how to get started with reverse engineering games in general? 👀 I was thinking to maybe look into that and learn C++/C once I have a PC again some day
This is hard to answer, because I believe everybody has their own way of learning, and my way will probably not work with everyone.
Maybe some advices I have is that first, if you want to reverse engineer a game, you have to understand how games are made. But I won't necessarily recommend to make an entire complex game, but at least make a very small and simple one in the language (and engine if possible) your target game was programmed in, to give you some ideas how your target game could work, which would help you in reverse engineering it.
Second, since reverse engineering and game development is a large area of knowledge, it is best to only learn what you need when you need it. For example, if your objective is to enhance the graphics of a game, you might need to learn how GPUs and graphical APIs such as Direct3D/OpenGL work. However if you just want to make a cheat that gives infinite life, then just learning Cheat Engine (as well as how memory works) might be enough.

These two games are like different
They are incomparable
Rayman is 2d where very different rules apply and UXXL is just a mod with increased difficulty
UXXL is made explicitly to fuck with the player. So yeah I'd argue it's fair to say it's harder. Though I fail to see a point in comparing the two.

And not sure, I never played rayman but I reckon its easier as UXXL since it had testers and was also for young people
