If i could set any place for asterix to travel in an xxl3 though, i would say mesopotamia, other places in gaul like lutetia, north africa and spain are good candidates

The Smurfs got their moon-like "Mysterious Planet", Tintin goes himself to the Moon, i think it's time for Asterix aswell.
Like, not full on 3d swimming
But replacing the walking animation with a swimming one
So they are always on a single plane near the bottom
And placing down there the retiarius and sharks and crocodiles
with air attack animations, and reduced gravity, i guess that would be interesting
Coral and shipwreck based terrain as obstacles
If we can change the gravity strengh ( or height of the jumps ), underwater and moon levels would be nice.
It would be funny if the moon level was like
A reference to wallace and gromit
It would also be nice to make test levels with the Mario 64 levels
It all made of cheese and asterix and obelix have to find the perfect dining spot
