The problem is that support for XXL2+ is limited compared to XXL1. XXL2 has some features like scripting being completely modified from XXL1, thus I would have to write new code for this, and I prioritized support for XXL1, though I am looking into supporting XXL2, Olympic Games and maybe other games in the future.

Another area that is different are the squads of enemies, which the editor doesn't fully support yet (you can view, but doing modifications is not possible yet).
PegPeregoGaucho
As of right now, XXL2 is nowhere near as moddable as XXL, so modifications like new enemies or a new level is just not possible. Basic editing, like adding more enemies to squads or buffing them is possible, but I don't think that these modifications would warrant a mod for the game
PegPeregoGaucho
I do hope that in the future it will be possible, but that lies in the hands of XXL-Editor creator @AdrienTD
Lepidópterus
Would you be up to an eventual XXL2 Caesar challenge?
Lepidópterus
If adrien ever provided his magic?
PegPeregoGaucho
Most likely not, that would need a lot of modelling and texturing etc. which takes a very long time and I'm not really that good at it either
PegPeregoGaucho
But maybe something like an "Unfair XXL2" mod in the future, if the modding tools for XXL2 will reach the same standard as XXL
Mr.Rubinshtein
storytelling mod would be amazing
Mr.Rubinshtein
to evolve XXL universe
PegPeregoGaucho
To be honest, nobody cares about the XXL story
Mr.Rubinshtein
well i am not really speaking specifically about XXL story
Mr.Rubinshtein
but like bring some new storytelling for the game
Sanojix
Ok I understand now, anyway I had a little fun playing with the Editor and xxl2
