STA is not even comparable to XXL1/2. It's 90% old-fashioned beat-em-up, while the XXL games combine fighting, platforming and puzzles.

Yeah... You just reminded me that at the first levels he also praised STA combat saying it was very complex for a beat-em-up, and that it had a decent enemy variety compared to most games of the genre.

Blasphemous! I constantly grab them and smash them into each other!
Feder373
That's an easier way to defeat them, but also, they give you less coins that way. The guy also complained about that. And about the amount of times he had to fight the same pirates.

That last post of mine was about XXL2, but ok
Feder373
Oh, sorry for the confusion, then.
Feder373
XXL 2 is boring if you don't use the prize combos.

*spams Jump and Grab* Raining Menhirs go brrrrrrrrrrr

Amongst the concept art for XXL3 I found the protagonists wearing Roman and viking outfits were supposed to have different frames. They're not used in the game, but I found them in the files

I don't remember this village background
Stinkek
Unlike XXL2R, the controller schemes are all done in the same style in XXL3
Stinkek
A bit of a strange find in the files. You can see the placeholder HUD with Asterix's portrait.

Strange render of Thule

I've been having a blast with Adrien's tools
Failentin
yeah, I love the OExplorer too
Failentin
especially being able to export the gallery figurines from XXL2R has been a huge help for me

I remember how my old PC couldn't handle the game's visuals and that its essential parts are now used in my father's own desktop, so oneday when my parents were away I decided to check them again (didn't want my father to ask ME questions):
CPU: Pentium Dual-Core E5200
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 710
RAM: 6 GB
BTW it has Windows 10 which works WAY slower than it does on my up-to-date PC.
XXL3's minimum system requirements as described on Steam:
CPU: Intel Core i3-2125 (3,3 GHz) AMD FX 4100 (3.6GHz)
Graphics: 2 GB (Geforce GTX 760/ Radeon R7 370)
RAM: 4 GB RAM
It's surprising how the game could run on my ancient toaster at all.

This was in UI > Old. Pretty sure I saw this face before
