Well, on my real cartridge, I couldn't go further than Egypt. There's a section where you must carry a fire and jump above lava pits, but the platforms inbetween are constantly squashed by rocks. So you need to jump with the exact timing and it's super tight.

This is a bit-perfect overlay of the mp3 from Laforest's website (covering frequencies up to 6kHz) and the mono wav from the GBA demo (covering the 6-22kHz range).
It preserves the stereo effects, but mixes the two melodies. The new melody was slightly boosted because it would've been lacking frequencies otherwise, but I tried to make it as seemless as possible.
