On a serious note, doesn't this game have a PS1 version? It could be emulated. I also remember installing Virtual PC to run Windows 98 in it, I even managed to play some old games in it which aren't supported even by Windows XP, but I lost it with a whole hard drive.

When I can, I prefer to play PC version over PS1's jittery graphics and slow loading times. Also the game has no music on emulator.

@Martyste Tendertail Have you tried Win XP compatibility mode on the ASTERIXSTART.EXE? That worked fine for me (Win 10 x64)
