he is already 49 years old
not young but not old and he still has some extra 20-30 years
to put a good start and open a new page in era of humanity
we are slowly getting there
there is also gonna be launched James Webb space telescope which will replace Hubble in 2021
and replacement of space station around 2025
James Webb will give us ability to look way back into the times of Big Bang

Not sure how colonizing a gas giant would be possible
i feel like people would be able to create atmosphere on planets at that time
if i remember correctly there was life discovered on Moon not so long ago
I read the winds of the gas giants are so strong they would instantly rip a human into bits
