@Mr.Rubinshtein did you spent that long modeling it in maya?
Mr.Rubinshtein
3 hours
Mr.Rubinshtein
Had some problems
Martyste Tendertail
Rubin, you should probably try timelapse videos
Martyste Tendertail
They would make awesome YT videos
Martyste Tendertail
I wonder if after some time we might be able to make a nice render with all these assets and maybe a remastered slice of the world, maybe a part of Normandy?
PegPeregoGaucho
Normandy would be the hardest to remaster
PegPeregoGaucho
I guess we can screenshot a part of the world, split the image in half and remaster one of the sides
Mr.Rubinshtein
@Martyste Tendertail i mean i can try to do timelapse but not sure it its gonna be useful somewhere 🤔
and i mean in terms of remaster i think probably gaul would be somewhat easy to do
since its pretty small area and it would be just right for one person to do it
cause believe me it may seem like fast thing to do without problem but damn i am gonna create custom materials from scratch thats first and secondly i need to adjust everything and be able to implement it into unreal engine
its for sure job not for 1 person
Martyste Tendertail
That's what I meant, only what's necessary for a single camera angle ^^
PegPeregoGaucho
The wording confused me a bit
Mr.Rubinshtein
ah you mean make a composition and take a screenshot?
Martyste Tendertail
Yeah, a render
Mr.Rubinshtein
@PegPeregoGaucho yes lol i just saw the mistake i wrote xD
Martyste Tendertail
But it doesn't have to be accurate to anywhere
Mr.Rubinshtein
@Martyste Tendertail problem here is that just render not gonna solve that the right way
i need in addition to recreate the actual shader which will replicate xxl style as close as possible
PegPeregoGaucho
I would just screenshot the original game because that's the closest we are gonna get, then remake the other in UE
