You just need to make sure you're in a fast encoding preset
Depending of if you are on NVENC or x264, pick a fast preset
just record with NVENC and use a constant quality factor of 18-23
depending on how much space/quality you have/want
NVENC is not making a huge difference when recording in low quality tho
well it is definitely making a huge difference in performance during your recordings
but you're right. You don't really notice the different for non-performance hungry games like XXL 1
