It’s both useless and we can see what the alley looked like.
Why would a loading screen picture be useless?
I'm talking about what is in the picture.
its just a loading screen lol
"Uh, yeah, let's keep this screenshot of the *unused* part of Rome for the loading screen, no one will question it"
Who thought it was a good idea NOT to put a druid near the 2nd slide in Normandy? I decided to practice, but having to run through a cave, the Norman village, another cave and a field with "donuts" just to learn how to get a good score is bothersome.
And there is NO catapult to go back near the last druid either...
ANOTHER thing that bothers me is that after the 2nd slide there's a catapult which launches you back to the top, and it's right in front of the slide, while the catapult that takes you to the boss is somewhere far on the right. When I rushed through the game I unconsciously used the wrong catapult.
This is what I did too, Epsilon
Gamecube emulator for the couple first speedruns ever of this game
---> I don't remember how I managed to do it, but by pressing some button on the keyboard I could get Asterix to sneak around as shown in the vertical slice trailer.
I just thought: Wow, they must've scrapped that part of the gameplay.
So this sneaking animation is definitely still in the Gamecube build.
