Apparently this only happens to me because I have a dated PC.
My PC is 12 years old. It can't run modern games well (for example "Spyro: Reignited Trilogy", "Subnautica", "Asterix and Obelix XXL2" remaster in full-screen), and even when I play and record old games my PC may freeze.

I decided to try out pyramiden's trainer (AsterixTrainer2_upx). I only tested Infinite Potion in Gaul. I had the P button assigned to opening Pause Menu but it still activated Infinite Potion.
I noticed that when I enter a new part of the world it plays an animation of visual effects as if I grabbed a gourd, is this normal? If I go back a bit when the effect animation starts playing and then forward again, the animation repeats.
When I ran to fight the Romans in the end of Gaul, they were... acting strange. They were floating not far from the ground but I couldn't hit them without jumping. When I started hitting them, I think they got down, but their animations were laggy. I kept fighting them and the game crashed. Ok?
...
Nothing like that happened when I used the +9 trainer with Super Asterix mode (where Asterix is invincible, has super-speed, can triple-jump and defeats enemies in 1 hit, but can't smash metal crates)

Ah, I understood! The Romans were "bugged" because in my case F is for attacking, and in the trainer this button is for freezing enemies, so everytime I press the attack button I freeze enemies. If I chose a different button for attacking enemies, this wouldn't happen.

Also, before I crashed the game, I chose a save where Gaul was completed normally, so the switch to Obelix happened automatically. Maybe I crashed because I mashed the button to freeze enemies.
I noticed this long ago, but... why is the lighting on the helmet in UI broken when you're in Helvetia?
