The fact when I extract those archives with your tools, I get an file, called outplay.wav is kinda weird
That's how it works for now.
Actually, those are the tracks, that play in the game, but they sound different for some reason
Can you know if there was a merchant somewhere in the beta sector?
"Eclair" means thunder, my life is a lie
Can also be another thing 😏
Decided to try editing the legionary texture. Too bad I don't know how to replace the original texture with this one. Doing it in Gallic War was a piece of cake.
Accidentally found the centurions' texture
and there you can replace them
Okay, I found the XXL Editor, followed the instructions, but I must've done something wrong because now the game crashes upon launch.
I noticed that for the game's textures it says "4 bits per pixel" or "8 bits per pixel".
For my edited texture it says "32 bits per pixel" (pretty sure there's no actual transparency), and when I replaced the legionary's texture with my edit there was a warning but I forgot what it said. I can technically save it with the right color depth, but is *this* the problem?
Also, I had to turn off Avast to be able to work with this.
Made a copy of my edited texture, saved it with 8-bit color depth and switched to it. The program didn't give any warnings, but it still says "32 bits per pixel". Followed the instructions on saving dictionary and KWN file, game still crashes when I launch it.
The file I used for this was LVL01.KWN
Wait... What if I used the wrong image format? My edited texture is PNG, but when I downloaded some archive here with textures, they were in TGA.
No, it doesn't support TGA files... I decided to bring the original texture back (PNG), but it says something about sRGB, still "32 bits per pixel" and the game is broken.
Eh, I can always just reinstall it. I'm not too worried about lost progress.
Normally there shouldn't be a problem if the texture is 32-bit, actually my editor will always import textures with 32-bit colours atm.
