nexo
Nope that doesn't work

Whenever it says Would you like to create and save a new set of data? I press yes and it says Save failed.

Man, try to install anyone version.
nexo
Anyone version?
rubinho146
He meant any version
rubinho146
The problem I think it should be from the installation perspective
rubinho146
Try reinstalling
NoTeefy
If I only could remember how we fixed that :C
nexo

nexo
That sucks, wanted to run some xxl as i haven’t for quite some while

By the way, are there some dudes and dudettes in here wanting to support me with the autosplitter? I'm essentially going to create an ASL file that reads out certain stuff from your game memory. It should help mitigate compatibility problems once I release the splitter
NoTeefy
Would be interesting to have some with a W7 installation as well
NoTeefy
<@&302463196525232129> alright. Since I want to provide proper support for the new splitter, I will show you a way in which you can help making it compatible for your operating system/setup. 1. Download the attached ``.asl`` file. 2. Go to your LiveSplit and make sure to **deactivate** the "old" splitter if you haven't already. You can find the button if you go to ``right-click >> edit splits >> under the game/category stuff`` 3. Make sure to not have any game instance running in the background! 3. Save your splits and go into your layout (``right-click >> edit layout``) and add a new element (``control >> Scriptable Auto Splitter``) 4. Go into your layout settings and choose the tab which corresponds to the freshly added element (should be the last one) 5. Choose the path where you downloaded the ``.asl`` file to (from step 1) 6. Save your layout and **close down your LiveSplit** 7. Open up your game as you usually would and wait till the intro's over and you're greeted with the starting screen/main menu 8. Open up LiveSplit. It should now perform an analysis and pop-up a message box once it's done. It will copy the required information into your clipboard by itself. Make sure to send me that output :) 9. Close down LiveSplit again and enter any level you want (but make sure to not stay on the overworld/chapter selection) 10. Open up LiveSplit and wait till it shows up the message box again. Send me that output aswell. 11. You can now remove that ``.asl`` file from your layout and re-enable the normal splitter in your splits. 12. Thanks a ton! 😗
