does anyone have any ideas how does this cannon work? like i understand that this highlighted part helps to configurate the angle of the upper part but what about recoil? how the hell the recoil works here. when you shoot you have recoil which throws upper part back and with this mechanism its really hard to understand how it works any ideas?

the only idea so far i got for this is that upper part of the highlighted area may play recoil mechanism role so far its the only logical explanation i found for this but dunno maybe i am wrong

As far as I'm concerned... It doesn't work.

It also doesn't have any clear "spring" that is meant to send the boulders flying. The wheel is clearly part of the cocking mechanism but it goes nowhere.

yup i guess its just detaches from the base and levitates in air while recoiling
