That's why we no longer use it
I just timed whether it is faster to flybash with Obelix or to grab the potion at the end of Egypt. Potion strat CAN be 2 seconds faster if done completely perfectly but most of the time they don't make any difference so we can use whatever we want
Oh I am so proud of my new 1:30:06 PB - NOT! I keep failing EVERYTHING after the Helvetia flybash strat. And in order to not even get sub 1:30 the game gave me the worst Rome RNG possible D:

About the long old flyb in Normandy after the slide, you make the same time than non fb when not skipping the last wind in grotto. However, we might consider re-use it cause you keep your flybash active for the next one and lower the chances of dropping it for the one at boats.
Not having to rely on rng to build flyb on the 60 army is quite good
