Look at minute 15 of this video. That lock hardly ever triggers. This is the only video I found where this happens, and only ever happened once out of lots of times I played myself. Does someone know why?
just tested myself and it didnt trigger.... maybe you need to do exactly what he did in the same order to trigger it? Would be weird since he does the slide multiple times
I think it only works in the PS2 version (including Kick Buttix), and got removed in the PC/GameCube version.
that lock is PS2 only, yeah
But even in PS2 hardly ever triggers, it's a mystery...
it just triggers when you go right in front of the button next to the three armies, iirc

Amazing, no matter what instance of my game, what USB port I use, I CANT get my PS4 controller to work anymore with XXL
Again, some shenanigan caused my controller to change name or something making it impossible for my game to detect it
I don't want to go back to full J2K controls ;_;
I still can't get out of this horror even with a fresh XXL save...
Welp, I've been confirmed it changed from Joy2 to Joy1, and reinstally the controller entirely somehow fixed this...
Oh btw lads, reason why I'm also in a bad position to speedrun lately: my left stick started acting up, it's almost impossible for me to go a straight line
Perhaps it was caused by the controller falling down one too many times, dragged by my headset cord
