Normally, if you extract the mod, and just copy the GLOC files from the original game to the mod's folder, then launch GameModule_MP_Windowed.exe, it should already work.
I did launched the GameModule_MP_Windowed.exe, but it still doesn't work
Do you have a gamepad / controller by any chance?
I only have a keyboard (i actually do have a Joystick, but im not using it rn)
Maybe what I could suggest is to go to the settings and change some of them (graphics, sound, input mapping)

I had that only once, but with XXL 2 instead.
The only fix was a reinstall.
So, I know only about Normandy.
