I'm about to test the controls and see for myself.
The layout was almost identical to my PS4 controller, only cross and square were swapped
Well, it won't matter, these controls are busted for the right stick, only my up/down will move the camera laterally.
The only clues I have with XXL's controller issues is what Windows tells us about our plugged controller.
Basically Windows thinks your right stick's axis aren't where they should be.
one axis is right, the other is found on the analog shoulder buttons.
I have a PS1 emu controller plugin that wouldn't let me input anything because it though that one of the shoulder axis wasn't on neutral position ( which would be exactly 50% pressing the shoulder button ), so any input attempt would immediately be taken over by that button
the old coot said its a problem with the directinput api
Also second question since I couldn't avoid it on startup: in your modding, you have control over the music that is triggered by romans?
each squad of enemies can have a music track assigned to it
That might sound like a weird question but I have my own... reasons, but would "An Epic Battle" be the default theme when doing so?
The reason why I'm asking will make all sense, once I am able to explain it.
im not sure how this part works, but each WINAS music tracks is assigned a number (for example WINAS2 (Egypt Battle theme) is 1 and WINAS5 (Roman empire theme) is 3) and in each Squad there is a number defined for the music that plays when the battle "starts"
To my knowledge, there is no default theme that plays. If no theme plays it would be a number like 30 (which doesnt have any track assigned to it) and if its 0, it plays the track thats assigned to 0
So you cant add a WINAS music track and then change the number in the squad to the number of the Winas. Which number equals what track is defined somewhere i dont know
Aight... but great to know!
Took a small dip in the game and... phew.
Meanwhile Failentin is already getting the WR for Any%
