**The Promising Future** It was not so long ago more precisely in 2018 Microids released XXL2 Remaster some people were sceptical and some were not and so when the game released it wasnt as much horrible as it was just depressive how they fucked up the games atmosphere and possibly killed few epileptics cause of the overly bright and shitty graphics they turned our childhood into.Not good performance and constant frame drops during camera rotation.Lot of particles effects were gone or replaced with vomit quality ones.But there was a hope that the new promising title called XXL3 would fix things and probably give a new breath to the franchise.And oh god how much we were wrong... **The Downfall** October 2 of 2019 XXL3 dropped in stores.It was a mixed bag of feelings that everyone had.Community accepted the game kind of cold but yet a bit warm.But it was definitely another nail into the coffin of Asterix games.Game took the comics and movie graphics direction which sounds like and interesting idea but the execution felt like a fart of homeless person.Shitty wax graphics that looked like someone melted a plastic.Horrible execution of some game mechanics and total ruining of legacy gameplay of its two giant successors XXL1 and XXL2. Despite the shittiness of the game it can be more or less fun to play with second player but its not worth it. XXL3 felt like an incest child of a mobile game Clash of Clans and flash games from 2008.Not fun useless quests.Horrible camera angles and confusing level design.And absolutely no love while making the game.This was kind of hard to swollow pill for the community.But hope dies last as some wise people say cause there was something even more horrific coming next that community wasnt even thinking about...The XXL1 Remaster

**The Rape of Childhood Memories and Existential Crisis of Community** It was time for the abomination to drop very soon on the stores.It appeared on the shelf's 1 week soon then expected from release date which was planned on October 22 2020.This caused a massive censorship in the community due to gameplay videos that were called "leaked" or "illegal" and were deleted from the server channels.This cause a huge wave of dramas and discussions.During that few disastrous weeks server was at its highest peek of activity that ever has been documented.This was the first split of community.Some people were defending the game and some people were fighting against it cause they had the screenshots and image leaks and could already judge the quality of the product. October 22 people bought the game on store and after some time they couldnt believe their eyes.The game was butchered.Shitty graphics,shitty performance,shitty execution,shitty music(well mostly).Horrible mechanics of challenges.Epilepsy level bright blurry graphics,Shitty design decisions and much much more.More and more community was agreeing with the fact that the game is horrible and more defenders of the game UNO reversed on the side of attackers.This caused another outrage in the community which lead to creation of more and more memes about Microids not being able to develop games and XXL1 Remaster was the last nail in the coffin of not only the game but also the community.Community died out cause of too many dramas and saddness around their favorite games being butchered.And up to this day community gives very weak signs of live and it seems like nothing will help to ressurect it....Perhaps there is only one thing that could help and that is the **modding**

**Conclusion** XXL2 Remaster - Toleratable XXL3 - Feels like a fart of homeless person but still is playable if nose closed XXLR - If you dont want to lose you sanity dont even try that thing

the reason why XXL2 Remaster might be the best OSome XXL title, is just because they left the majority of the gameplay untouched and didn't completely fuck up the graphics (like the xxl romaster)
