i think the textures are the same, just the game renders it differently
I just remember telling the devs to do something about the retro glow showing it's square boundaries when collecting a few of them
Like, it was way too additive somehow.
But yeah, transparency is definately not handled the same way...
Why would VFX for collectibles throw shadows at all? It makes no sense
Man romaster looks so washed out. Even the crates lost their ambient color
They're basically glowing, glow doesn't produce shadows

Oh, I just read your message correctly, I was thinking of a trailer where you could see coins dropping square shadows
Oh, no, basically, the glow brightens up when you collect the helmet
and, with multiple of those stacking, the square shows up.
