This has nothing to do with weather or not you can get ontop of the platform in helvetia. What decides that is how far you fall before you manage to jump out of the flybash

You mean the Helvetian Fence? Yes, you can just stand in front of it, press yourself against it and jump over it when you make the third jump a mash jump
At lest it is usefull and it confirms the height gain
There is no other place where this really helps though. :/ This one second is the only thing we can save with that atm
So you give up all forwards momentum to gain a little extra height
