I think the best setting for the trick is to jump a little to the right of the box and jump against the wall. That's at least what works best for me

To me it looks that the best time to jump is when on the catapult a new rock spawns

oh, and you don't have to jump on the wheel to activate the catapults, it is enough to jump over the bushes on the way to this spot
