not really. Getting 75 000 helmets is not very time consuming and thanks to the twister the fights don't take that long anyways. As I said, I guess it's about 3 minutes. Still a lot, though (:

how comes the lock does not activate for you? Or did you get back there with a save file where you already beat these Romans?

you can't approach the lock from this side. Only from the right side, when you completely stick to the wall :/

but maybe we can somehow make it if we lead the Romans somewhere else, because the trigger zone of the lock chances depending on where the Romans are
Remember you need to get flybash first
yeah, but you can lead them to the right where the lock does not trigger, then get flybash and maybe lure them back to where the firespot is. Can't see how it should work but it's worth trying, I guess

I would be very surprised if someone could manage it once without activating the lock
There are still some fights in the game that would be faster as we use the Twister combo
