Well I found out that you can land on the palms closest to the edge... but thats it :/
maybe we should have a look at the possibilty to not activate the lock but still using the elevator. It was close last time we tried

my biggest hope yet was that we could somehow glitch the rubber band to make us jump upwards and we can then flybash. But nope, won't happen either
