ahm, is it intended that locks don't get activated when you have the "no switch" option to on?
and really... Egypt is our "Barrier Skip". It's so close yet so far away and it will probably take a looong time until someone finds something to make it :x
maybe we should also write out a bounty for it? Guess there are way too few people interested in it, though
Remember I still use the version with the first teleportation option
I thought you meant some in game option
would be nice if it would be an option the game gives you. No more trouble getting locks 😄
@Noxus94 The old "no switch" just messed some of the triggers up. It's also possible that some doors just won't open and so on.
so you also don't know exactly what causes the locks not to appear?
I don't really rembember the specifics, but there are some procedures in the game which check if something like a lock or a character switch should happen and the "no switch" option basically makes the game ignore some of those.
The newer trainer also has an option which disables locks only.
hm, I guess that means that there is no way to find out if we could get the same results without having to glitch the game with the trainers. But thanks for the answer, anyways (:
but another thing, pyramidensurfer. I found out a few months ago that you can skip the cutscene in Normandy where you have to get Asterix along the three movable towers, when you spend enough time there. The two times I did it, I spent 1 hour at this spot before I moved the towers. Do you know any way, how we could "overload" this game, so we might skip cutscenes on other places, too?
I have no idea why it is like that, sorry.
You think you can find a ingame way to stack input? Maybe we can recreate this, but I don't know what inputs are stacked and which are just gone when they're done
New strat, wait for an hour+ to skip all the games CS's :p
wow, when you try to use the combo we buy in Gaul with a Roman on the beginning of Rome to the bridge (which I just tried since we found out in Helvetia that they don't have hitboxes on the one side) you get boosted high enough to make in on top of the bridge, but you still get send back to the Romans, even when you head to the other direction
