the negative side is that you would always have to make all elevator jumps first try and NEVER get Asterix high enough, so he would jump onto the upper layer, because the cutscene would always trigger then and you would lose time. Also it's just about 15 seconds faster than our current, really safe, strat
So... I don't think it's worth trying to make it somewhat safer
cause even with perfect setup it's highly unrealistic not to mess it up a couple of times

But the thing is, that would make bathjump still useful but not primordial.
Egypt battle proved that when the spy checks the lock it only counts the romans in his area then lets you go with what you had prior.
