I don't think it's possible to get any time save in Gaul as it is way to straight forward without locks or barriers to jump over. And Rome is already skipped completely anyway.
So I think finding new strats with our current knowledge of the games mechanics will be extremely tough

Dude i drop my flybashes out of pain sometimes
I tried... a lot... until I stopped thinking about my hand completely and just made it a reflex X.x
but that's not even the interesting flybash. The really interesting flybash is the other flybash before the 1 second time save in Egypt you find. I'm really sure there is a possibilty to go oob
But I'm done flybashing for today after this... ähm... yeah, "tutorial recording" X.x

there is an army between the 1 second save and the thing were we beat the catapult with the magic potion. You can gain a full combo bar at the fire where you are alone with Asterix and then use it at the army. Provided that Obelix does not kill the army first >.>
There is this strange magic teleporting Roman guy who sometimes appears out of nowhere at the two armies spot in Egypt (where the flybash is). And sometimes he teleports to the uppest platform after every Roman there was beat. He's definitly a magician!
I can't manage the new flybash trick in Helvetia a single time anymore. Awesome...
And I have absolutely not the slightest clue what I could be doing wrong
