#xxl2-remastered

alexinho.k
but jump and movement in XXL 2/XXL 2 HD is in my opinion identical, so maybe also faster skipping of rooms in seizeus is possible
NoTeefy
Movement is slower in the original game and I thought that it was remaster exclusive because they added a new feature regarding the ground pound
NoTeefy
@Nekin btw if you‘re calculating yours don‘t forget the transition rooms in Louxor. They are also loading zones (it‘s a neat trick from the devs)
NoTeefy
@Nekin you basically want to subtract the time starting from the first move from the crane till it stops
Nekin
Ok i don't about your new setup for the final boss guys
Nekin
but i've just updated mine
Nekin
now i don't even have enemies on the last platform
Nekin
which is very nice because last platform was rly a pain in ass
Martyste Tendertail
No, NoTeefy, the transition rooms load at the same speed for everyone.
Martyste Tendertail
And you still control Asterix so there no point in doing that
Martyste Tendertail
gonna look at that Nekin
NoTeefy
@Martyste Tendertail They don‘t. I researched that stuff because I noticed that the loading flag was getting triggered
NoTeefy
@Martyste Tendertail it wouldn‘t be accurate if we ignored it while doing it manually since the autosplitter takes that into consideration
NoTeefy
and yeah, the crane always moves at the same speed but you have no visual cues about the loading state
NoTeefy
I mean we can also just ignore it if doing the loadless calculation manually, it‘s only a few milliseconds
NoTeefy
I just thought that would be kinda more accurate
NoTeefy
(which it would be)
Martyste Tendertail
Have you tried comparing between runs tho?
NoTeefy
Didn‘t need that. I just used a virtual harddrive and slowed it down. It took WAAAY longer to get the doors to open and I therefore got a longer time difference between loadless and RTA aswell
NoTeefy
As I‘ve said, the difference is small in the normal use-case but I‘m not sure how fast the consoles are at those sections :/
