I have tryed on original ds, and this is more easy to do on a original Nintendo Ds
(Even though I said I wouldn't do it again, maybe I'll try to beat my record, if I get there, but I don't think my fingers will hold up)
Maybe a DS Tank might be sufferable enough
gg tho Ben, i totally understand if you don't try to beat your WR with this strat as I know it's very hard to maintain... You can also use the infinite jump to climb the Eiffel Tour (it is not in my vids as I thought about it after I made them and don't have the motivation if it's not the final and full optimised project for TASvideos)

I always encourage everyone to test whatever they might think work - or is just simply different from how the game wants you to play it, thus maybe unintentionally triggering interesting stuff

I found only the softlock in Lutece
if only we could easily change the camera angles in the boss fights. The jumps would be really easier.
You can change the camera angle in first boss fight
(I don't know about the original game,but you can do it in Remastered)
i managed to find a way to "revive" the boss
you can do it on the first boss Sypervenya, then it's impossible.
the question is, is there a way to change that. Maybe through game files. I don't know wether it would be considered cheating in a speedrun though
tampering with the game files would definitely be cheating ^^
