wtf, are Romans motivated by a centurion supposed to be 200 km/h fast on hard mode?
and @Martyste Tendertail . The Game Difficulty DOES make a difference. There are way more Romans spawning on hard and they're way more aggressive
spear throwers dealing damage on hard. Yeah, exactly the stupid shit I was waiting for while playing normal...
Spear throwers have no cooldown anymore when motivated by a centurion on hard.... God, and I already thought those guys were the most terribly designed enemies in the entire franchise when I played on Normal
He just killed me from full health to zero without me ever being unstunned. Very fun
yeah, guess I just suck in OSomes oppinion

I like how some fights just become entirely luck dependend on if the spear throwers target you or the second character. It's so fun and engaging to let RNG decide whether you just die miserable or at least have a small chance to win :3
especially since they outnumber you that hard you HAVE to have the energy bar full every forced fight
okay, hard mode is not hard mode it's stupid mode... the forced markus fight in Crete is just straightout stupid. There's no other word for it... and there is again one single reason: Spear Thrower. And they're spammed here like crazy
not even sure how it's supposed to be possible when you always respawn with depleted energy and only 3 hearts...
Glad I'm not the only one who found Rome to be so bugged - I suspect they might not get the assignment to produce a patch due to the sad amount of fanfare that this game is generating, but if they do, Rome should be top priority.
nobody still knows about this game, because marketing was entirely not existent. No surprise at all
biggest marketing they did was being on gamescom, I guess. But since Microid banned absolutely every footage about it online, the reaction was still zero
Microid is probably the first publisher I ever heard of that doesn't want anyone in the world to know about the games
Everything about XXL3's development (including the XXL2 remaster) was weird tbh. I guess they thought the name Asterix alone would get them thousands of instant buyers.
I feel a bit bad for OSome tbh. It's not like XXL3 is a completely bad game.
XXL 3 would really be a neat game with more time and more budget.
...and if it didn't have that annoying energy bar system
and no spear throwers

tbh the energy bar would be fine by me if the "automatic refill" would ACTUALLY refill the bar and not just a tiny bit...
