we cant make wr obsolete in speedrun.com but you can create a sub category and flter by (regions/platforms/**OR VERSION**)
yeah, but that's only reasonable if there was a big patch

What if this patch hasn't arrived on consoles yet, though? We couldn't then reject runs made on console, right?

I insist a last time I promise ^^ but you can just create a filter with all versions and put by default, the newest. even if older versions are less prestigious and useless.
