well you can play and record the game, it does the job at least @Stinkek
Yeah, as long as you can do that you have all the tools to be a great speedrunner for this game
I'm actually very impressed by Julias setup tbh. I'm pretty sure my 12 year old pc wouldn't have handled the game so well and I'm not even talking about recording it at the same time 😮
Thank my Dad, it was pretty good for its time
Well tbh, this is one of the first game I had on PC back when I was a kid, and it was running on a 1999-2000 computer so I guess the game is pretty well optimized
but recording at the same time is indeed quite impressive
Indeed, XXL 1 is exemplary in optimisation. It runs butter smooth on my Toshiba L500 from 2006, who had quite a rough life.
And that's even more surprising than the game is actually very pretty for a 2004 game, I mean the textures are clean af
Well, some people in that time were criticising the emptyness of Normandy, but that's true, lots of areas are well detailed.
Ah yeah, Normandy is kinda empty indeed lol
but I find it more pleasant to speedrun than playing it in casual
I mean Normandy is not too tricky
and it has a lot of fun skips
Atm I really can't bear Egypt
yeah it's the case for many people here ^^
Oof good to know I'm not the only one haha, indeed I noticed than even in the best runs, most of the struggles appear in Egypt
Egypt is kinda meh in speedruns 😄
Egypt wouldn't be a problem for me if it wasn't for that cursed boat course
Oh yeah I actually lost too much life too many times on it
