What I know is that the game store the crates content (number and type of bonus) not for every crate, but for every crate stack, and the game will randomly distribute the content in each crate of the stack. That could explain why in the Normandy Viking fight, sometimes the potion comes the first time you smash the crate, and sometimes you have to smash a second time, but at the end you will get your potion :Potion: .

Also what might also be randomized are the orientation and displacements of the crates the moment they enter the camera.

Wow, developpers definitely didn't want the players to cheat the buttons to take the laurel ... I don't know what is this gigantic vertical wall, but there is definitely more than 2 walls to protect this laurel

There may be no invisible wall, but also no known way to flybash or damage boost over there unfortunately.
