I won't practice it in a while since I get now what to do 🙂
You said the strat Failentin used is "safer". Can you tell me why ?
because you don't have to jump as high to reach the lever.
But that's just a few pixels we're talking about here, so...
that's why I put it in quotation marks
and Marty's theory about losing the flybash at the merchant is correct as well:
When you finish shopping at the druid and still have more than 1/5 of your combo bar left when hitting the Roman, your combo bar will drain a bit. If you have less than the amout the combo bar drains, your combo bar will not fall and you will lose flybash.
So the safe way to do it is to pay attention to your combo bar BEFORE talking to the spy.
Is it still about a third or more? You should be fine, can do the shopping and then hit the Roman.
Your combo bar is less than a third? Wait for your combo bar to run out and then go shopping. Don't hit the Roman afterwards then, though.
unless you have the very shitty thing that the Romans refused to come with you to the direction of the spy.
Then pray that you can reach them before your combo bar runs out, get it to about a third again, then hit one and continue
I'm not certain if the last thing really works like this... but I think...
And is it worth to let the combo bar drain if it is less than a third ? Isn't it faster to just do the normal way ?
Nah, waiting is definitly faster
do you know if Failentin used that strat ?
and do you have more knowledge about the potential crash at the catapult ?
nope... it never seems to happen anymore, because... who knows
