Ok, I think that's the same thing with that jump over the barriers in Helvetia
just try to stick to the left wall and go a little bit left and right while you're at the top of your jump
I think it will solve our problems of consistency
I tried this a couple of times, it seems to work every time
To get through the hole, a small nudge to the right as you go past it and you're guaranteed to fall down

Is it me or it is easier to water jump with Obelix ?
I can chain him 5-6 jumps easily
yep, I think he has one or two more frames to allow that...
Maybe at some point they were both the same and Asterix' animation got restricted more since he carries the torch
but he doesn't have any torch here ...

I don't think one has more frames to jump than the other. It's probably just our visual cues being different because of the different sizes character models
